Hillary: Quitting or Suspending?

The media has been so full of crap lately I'm not sure what to believe, but from my understanding, when Hillary "quits the race" this weekend, she will simply be suspending her campaign and keeping her delegates.

If this is the case, and I hope it is, I think this is the right move for her at this time. The media has been using her as a punching bag. She needs to drop out of sight for a while and then they will be forced to find a new punching bag. Maybe they'll do their jobs and talk about the Rezko verdict (but I'm not holding my breath).

Obama has many skeletons that could come out of the closet between now and August. The Rezko prosecutors may also turn their attention to the people in government who helped him. This could be bad for Obama. Hillary needs to lay low and just keep her delegates for now.

I have to say I am still shocked at how few leaders in the Democratic party have stood up for Hillary or her constituents...just one more sign that they are being bought up...or something.

The Democrats are calcified and arthritic and look and act like the twin of the Republican party. We are watching a train wreck happen. Let it happen. In October, when the Republicans release their ammunition which I am sure they have in the form of tapes they have been holding on to, Hillary can show up and collect the win as an independent. God, I hope she is getting good advice and starting a new party. There is nowhere we can go with the Democratic party now. The betrayal is too deep and widespread.

I am impressed with Hillary while she was campaigning amidst all of the adversities. She is the hardest working candidate I have ever seen, and I am sure she will be the hardest working President. This country needs someone like her in these trying times, and not guys like Obama or McCain. She has suspended her campaign but has not given up her Presidential aspirations, I am sure. I hope that things will turn out so that Obama will have to surrender his presumptive nominee status in upcoming weeks.
