Obama is in Big Trouble

I realize this poll is on the Fox website but if you are an Obama fan, you should be worried. If the election were held today, less than 10% of Democrats polled there would vote for Obama (as of this writing). I'm sorry, but I told you so.

I think you should check the poll again, so you don't remain deluded..

Oh funny how that happens. I've seen that happen before with polls, where they are evenly balanced and then suddenly some Obamabots come on there with some sort of voting bot and skew the results. I think the original results that were online for a few days are much more accurate than the obvious skew that's up there now.

Sorry but before I saw a link to this poll on a website with a large number of Obama supporters, a link to the poll had been posted on blog.hillaryclinton.com here: http://blog.hillaryclinton.com/blog/main/2008/06/04/030945#view_comments

So the "original" results you're referring to (as being more accurate) were actually due to manipulation by what I guess we would call "Hillarybots". The fact that there are overwhelmingly more "Obamabots" than "Hillarybots" perhaps tells us something about what might happen in the coming election.

xee-man, you can't just show one link to the poll from Hillary's site and claim that means the original results were skewed...it's possible the poll was linked multiple places.

The big key that this poll has now been hijacked is that now the site has the following results for the REPUBLICAN side:

6% of Republicans would vote McCain
10% of Republicans would vote Obama
13% of Republicans would stay home

Now HONESTLY...can you HONESTLY look me in the face (virtually) and tell me that's an ACCURATE polling of Republicans? That MORE Republicans on a Fox website would vote for Obama or stay home than vote McCain? Give me a break.

In the original results, most of the Republicans were voting McCain, which is obviously a lot more accurate.

I have seen actual polls on other websites where it apparent it was not human beings voting for Obama, but a computer program. The numbers changed that swiftly. On site (a superdelegate's), she had to shut the poll off since it was being gamed. Another poll done elsewhere had to throw a huge number of votes out from the Obama side since they had also been manipulated, and it was reported on their blog.

So it's apparent that Obama people don't want the truth out; they'll work really hard to skew reality to make you believe that somehow, in Obamaland, MORE REPUBLICANS WOULD VOTE OBAMA THAN THEIR OWN CANDIDATE.

Well, whoever decided it was a good idea to try to make it look like Republicans want Obama was an idiot. Sorry, there's the evidence right there that the poll has been tampered with.

In your blind rage, I guess you couldn't be bothered to read what I wrote. I guess there is the possibility that you're responding to another xee-man who posted something I can't see. I don't know. All I know is that I never said anything about the poll being an accurate representation of anything nor that it hadn't been tampered with. Quite the contrary.

Regardless of all that, here's what this looks like to me; as long as results show that Democrats are going to vote for McCain rather than Obama, you're willing to accept them as (somewhat) accurate. Even though a link to the poll had been posted on a prominent "Hillary" site (and then probably propagated from there), the results don't become "skewed" until it's posted on an "Obama" site.

See where I'm going here?

I think the point is, you Obama fans are completely unwilling to look at the reality, which is that a huge number of Democrats won't support Obama in November.

You can try to skew the polls, news and blogs to make it appear that the problem does not exist, but the fact is, the anti-Obama movement is a force.

Now, you can come on to blogs like mine, arguing with people like me, and help dig Obama a bigger hole by dismissing our issues as "blind rage."

Or, you can sit back and consider carefully why Obama has such a huge problem with his own party.

If he can't rally Democrats around him, what on earth makes you think he can rally America behind him?

latest CBS News poll: Obama 48%, McCain 42%.

Rasmussen daily tracking: Obama 48%, McCain 43%

RealClearPolitics average: Obama 46.4%, McCain 44.0%

electoral-vote.com: Obama 287, McCain 227, exactly tied 24

I put a lot more faith in these outlets than the opinion of the 17 "Democrats" who vote in Fox News online polls.

Oh, funny you should mention that. You mean, the same mainstream news organizations that said that Hillary was conceding Tuesday night when she wasn't?

No, I don't, I mean CBS, Rasmussen, Real Clear Politics and electoral-vote.com, none of which are the Associated Press, which published the erroneous report that Hillary would concede on Tuesday. The AP story has nothing to do with the polling conducted which consistently has Barack Obama beating John McCain in the general election.

Xee-man:"In your blind rage" why would you right away conclude she was in a blind rage. I don't understand why you Obama supporters think you can insult and call people names or make negative remarks. This is her blog, she is expressing what she believes in. She is not in a blind rage. Have you seen someone in a blind rage? Make sure to use words appropriately. Hillary or McCain. The DNC can eat their own fat.
